      Yvonne - Blackbutt QLD

Hi, My name is Yvonne and I am a long time Forest People /Yowie experiencer. My journey started in 2022 when I encountered a Clan Alpha at Durong Qld on a 40-acre property that a friend owned. We had a working bee to erect the shed kit he had purchased; the mob were very noisy with their music and activities that night, so I drove down (a very soggy) fence line on a firebreak when I heard a voice in my head. It said turn your lights up and have a look. I did, and what I saw changed my life and perspective, an 8ft tall, massive male creature with long flowing black hair covering his body which absorbed all light, and bright glowing yellow eyes almost blinding me reflecting in the bus headlights. I was so shocked my foot slipped off the clutch and the bus shot backwards into a stump hole, and I was bogged to the diff. That night my son in law and I heard clapping, mumbling and chickens being stolen from their pen. This was the beginning of my journey with the Forest People of this Clan. After relaying my story to the people that stayed there, they admitted seeing fleeting glimpses of hairy people, finding footprints 👣 and hearing peculiar noises at night. Four of us heard samurai chatter and horrendous screaming, also witnessing self-illuminated eyes and other strange phenomenon. Not to mention stick structures across the property. I returned in October of that year to grade the roads, stick pick, and tidy things up while the caretaker was away. During that time, I had nightly visitations from the clan surrounding my bus and speaking in their language. I found this comforting somehow and slept very well knowing they were there and I felt SAFE, I even had the bus unlocked but I knew they were looking out for me. One day as I was driving the tractor and blade, I could hear screaming and felt a sense of urgency to return to camp. On my return my 50+kg dog was frantic and as I scanned my surroundings I witnessed “my clan” screaming and roaring on the Eastern side and figures blurring as they ran at incredible speeds on the western side. There was so much tension in the air that my hair stood on end, my skin prickled and I felt absolute terror. The voice in my head screamed “Clan war! Leave now!” I ran to my bus leaving my caravan behind, my faithful hound leaping into the bus, I left without any further scanning of the landscape I left as fast as I could, and arriving at the Durong hall shaking and in a state of panic. I was shaking so hard that I couldn’t function or leave the drivers seat for some time, you can only imagine the turmoil of my brain and nervous system at this time, and who is going to believe me if I call for help? I just tried to go through the motions but thinking what if “my clan” don’t win?

      Continue........

With great hesitation I returned after lunchtime the next day (fully considered abandoning my caravan...) to find some tension still in the air, yet no rival clan members running around so tentatively carried on with business as usual. Things had quieted down although there was much destruction to trees and the landscape. I left after a few days and returned in April the next year as the Caretaker or Custodian of the property. My encounters were daily and the happenings became normal to me. The clan was had 3 adult males, 2 females, a teen male and baby female when i left. There are far too many stories to share here and I’ve had to condense this very much, but I can tell you I feel so blessed 🙌 to have had the experiences I have had. They were always watching out for me and even convinced a guy who came to the property for a Yowie experience, that didn’t believe and was being quite creepy, to leave, and I have the foot casts and photo documentation to prove it, from where they circled his bus chattering (scaring him 😉 to the point he left) while I slept like a baby. Mala the teen was a major pain, as most teens are... the first time he was left behind when the clan went walk about. My fondest memory is the full moon he was using an ibc pod as a drum and dancing throwing his arms up, I laid in my bus watching in awe and terror, calming myself saying they’ve never hurt you, don’t panic now 🤣 and didn’t try to take pictures or move because I was afraid I’d startle him and no family members were around to pull him into gear. At that stage he would throw sticks and rocks at the shed roof (no rocks on the property...) and generally terrorised me and was a pain in the bum. The next year he was much better and I considered Mala a rockstar, very boisterous and outgoing, always up to mischief and pranking me, but hilarious in the ways he did things as he was learning various forest people skills, like making terrible smells, sneaking up on me cloaked and touching me etc. I would often look up to see my new dog Mr Boo running across the paddock after Mala, and a sense of joy in my heart knowing there was no ill intent. The baby would run around the shed and caravan at night and early morning, then cry as she was being led off by her mum when it was time to leave before daylight, which was experienced by my son as well as myself. These PEOPLE are so amazing and wonderous in their abilities it is incredible, and unless you have experienced this its so hard to convey the feelings and emotions that they can convey to you. At this property we also experienced Dogman activity which was absolutely terrifying, although we were never harmed by these beings I cannot relay just how frightening this was. There were so many encounters that I cannot even try to fit them into this story, but I do believe there was an active portal on the property.

I’ve also had numerous experiences at Benarkin , 5km from Blackbutt. I was having encounters during my bushwalks on the rail trail. I thought it would be a good idea to do some drumming but it wasn’t received well, and I was bluff charged several times afterwards, so never did that again here! A friend started walking with me at Benarkin and was open to contact. We definitely received that on most walks with some being intense, an 8 foot chocolate coloured male and a shorter 7 foot muscular black coloured male were constantly hazing us on walks, which kind of made us feel safe (got to love them “hiding” behind trees much smaller than them). We had sticks thrown in our direction but not hitting us, chattering, mumbling and I’ve heard like children giggling deep in the bush). I have also had encounters at Esk, Aldershot near Maryborough, Wooroolin, and Kinbombi Falls, all in Qld. Yarraman - I've had no visual there but have heard what sounded like screaming chimps in the early am there a few times and have been paralleled a couple of times. I am in the process of writing a book detailing the encounters and I am open to conversations with fellow experiencers if you need to talk. Thank you for reading this very condensed version of highlights 😁 Yvonne

We were out near Blackbutt, just me and my mate, walking through the pine forest like we’d done plenty of times before. Late arvo, quiet, just that pine smell and the bush settling down for the night. Then this big fella steps out from between the trees. A yowie. No doubt about it. Tall, covered in hair, just standing there looking at us. Funny thing is, we weren’t scared. Didn’t feel threatened at all. We just stood there, same as him. My mate gives me a look like, you seeing this too? After a few seconds it nods its head, turns, and walks back into the trees like it’d just checked on us and was happy enough. We kept walking after that, like nothing much happened. But I tell ya, that forest felt different—like we’d been guests, not owners. Liam.

Seen this footprint at Poona National Park near Maroom QLD. That’s my size 14 foot next to a huge footprint.  We found a nesting area near the footprint. Felt wrong to be there and felt wrong to take photos but planning another hike in to look around and take some photos more. It’s a 20k hike there and back. Not an expert ether just wanted someone to show photos to confirm when we go back. Smell wasn't an issue there was a smell like a chemical burnt popcorn but very strong and pungent. The feeling like being watched near the nesting site was wild. 2 nests one old one newish. Dale.

Seen one Putty Road down the mountains going towards Penrith to go to Canberra. Lucky I was doing a bush poo it made me push it out quicker I'll say that. Definitely not a myth I saw what I saw and it stuck with me detail to detail. I never changed my story. it's just how well I remembered it. In a way I was definitely shi#*ing my dacks but in another, I was excited I got to experience that cause only a few do. My Mrs can back this up. It set my kid off crying, my cat was hissing and my dog was barking (we were camping and seeing my sister no one could pet sit) so it was definitely something unsettling. We wiped up and basically bolted to the car and yeah turned the high beams on and we saw it. We just went “yeah nah F this” and we sped off to Penrith and 10 mins later I just said to my Mrs “That was a Yowie wasn't it?” she's like “It definitely looked like it what else could snapped branches that big and throw rocks that big and just run that fast up the hill etc”. We were talking about it for half the trip to Canberra and basically said “no one will believe this” so we only tell this story to a few ppl. It was 2am, freezing, and the rest stop the council had torn the toilets down rebuilding them so me and the Mrs doing a bush wee and poo and all of a sudden we just hear huge branches snapping crashing and banging not just one tree like most the trees around us. Rocks the size of 2 bowling balls just thrown near us but not aimed at us. It was just definitely telling us to move on and then I put my high beams on we saw a crouched like figure but it was like 6ft 5 hunched over it would of easily been 8 to 9 foot standing and the eyes were bright green the size of an old school Nissan skyline round break light but it wasn't a car at all. The hill you'd need a decent 4wd to get up there but there was construction stuff and fencing so it definitely wasn’t a car and it wasn't an excavator. It was all at the bottom of the hill this thing looked near human but huge. Kyle.

Me and my brother was saying at my uncles and auntie for a week back in 1994 maybe 1995 They were living in Kunghur. The first or second night they were doing a fire pit and it was very early into the night when I did hear some really weird noises around the area. That is when my uncle pretty much said everybody get inside now. Later on that night I was looking outside the window. I did see 4 maybe 5 black shadows walking past a river they have going through the back of their property. My older cousin punched me in my arm and said “we don't look at them”. I'm 100% sure that same night we were all in the same bedroom and my uncle did have the big wooden balcony going all around the house. No idea what time or night this happened but we hear things running around the house. Then something hit the side of the house so incredibly hard. My uncle and cousins, none of them got out of their bed to see what's going on... like it happened before ??? This all happened on the last day I was there and I never seen that part of the family ever again. We were walking back from someone’s cow farm and next to the same river. I did remember a storm was coming in really fast so me, my brother, and three cousins were walking back to their house and that is when we seen a little black hairy, very hairy boy. The hair was going like this in the photo I sent. We just run back to the house and my older cousin telling my uncle of what happened. Last thing I remember was my uncle yelling at me and blaming me for everything and later on that night my dad coming to get me and my brother and my dad and uncle got into a big yelling match. And on the car ride home I remember my dad saying there was hillbillies be living in these parts. I’m still trying to look for the house on Google Maps. Been way over over 30 + years and I know it was, and always remember hearing we are going to Kunghur and trying to find a house with a red roof lol There was Five houses in this one area and an old church and I know every other house has old people living in them. That is all I can remember Writer wishes to remain anonymous.
